Molti dei progetti presentati in queste pagine sono stati ideati ed elaborati giocando su una sottile linea di confine tra il concetto di “urban decoration” e quello di “public art”.

​Numerosi sono stati sviluppati in piena libertà e autonomia, semplicemente perché generati da un’idea che ho ritenuto meritevole di studio e approfondimento, ma altrettanto numerosi sono quelli che hanno avuto origine da una committenza, ovvero da una richiesta di proposte che interpretassero un tema specifico in un contesto specifico, e pertanto soggette a vincoli e adattamenti di ogni sorta.
Una discreta parte di questi progetti ha poi visto la realizzazione concreta, come opere e installazioni permanenti nello spazio pubblico – contesto nel quale mi sento maggiormente coinvolto come creativo – piuttosto che come elementi di design destinati ad una produzione seriale.

Most projects shown on these pages have been conceived and developed on the thin border between the concepts of “urban decoration” and “public art”. Many of them have been elaborated in conditions of absolute freedom and independence, simply because they were generated by an idea which I regarded as worthy of study and research. Yet, as many projects have been originated from commissions, that means requests of proposals aimed to express a specific theme within a specific context, therefore subject to any kind of obligations and adaptations.
Several projects have eventually been realized, as works and permanent installations in public space – which is where I actually feel involved in – rather than becoming design elements for serial production.
